I am a biologist mainly interested in theoretical ecology. Formerly I have been a post-doc researcher at the Department of Biotechnology and Biosciences of the University of Milan-Bicocca. My research focuses on ecological modelling and biogeography. I have often used parasites as model organisms to investigate macroecological mechanisms.
